Workshop
Rewrite the code offers a half-day of exercises, reflections, and action planning for a more inclusive workplace.
DEI Certification for Future-Ready Tech Leaders
Our course is specifically designed for professionals in tech, IT, and STEM. It provides participants with concrete tools and insights that can be directly applied in their work. The investment in this course is more than just training, it is a strategic step toward building a stronger, more skilled, and future-ready organization.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have developed a shared language and a baseline of DEI competencies as managers. Each group will produce a 90-day Action Plan that identifies three to five specific actions, with clear ownership and timelines.
Workshop overview
-
This certification program is aimed at managers and leaders with direct employee responsibility. Each workshop cohort brings together a cross-functional group of between 5 and 30 participants.
-
The program is delivered as a half-day workshop (3.5 hours) structured into two blocks: the first lasting two hours, followed by a thirty-minute break, and the second lasting ninety minutes. At present, delivery is on-site anywhere in Sweden, with travel billed separately.
-
Certification is awarded on a pass/fail basis. To qualify, all managers with direct reports must be invited, and at least 80% attendance is required. A catch-up module is available for those unable to attend live. Each group must also submit their 90-day Action Plan within fourteen days, using the provided template and specifying an owner for each action. In large organisations where 80% attendance is impractical, certification can be applied at either company-wide or unit level.
-
Certification remains valid for three years, but badge artwork is updated annually. To maintain badge validity, organisations must pay an annual validation fee and submit both a follow-up on their Action Plan and a new plan for the year ahead. Each validation cycle includes one hour of consulting support, for example to help define the new plan. After three years, organisations complete a re-certification workshop to renew their status.
-
The certification badge may be displayed on career pages, LinkedIn, job advertisements, and email signatures, provided usage follows brand guidelines. Each badge is valid for twelve months. If certification is earned between January and August, the badge will display the current year, while certification earned between September and December will display the following year.
-
The stand-alone price for non-partner organisations is 39,000 SEK. For WITgbg partners, the program is included and required. Multi-site organisations or those with more than 500 employees receive custom pricing based on scope and cohort sizing. The annual validation fee is 9,500 SEK. Payment terms are 30 days, and all travel and expenses are billed separately at cost. Clients are responsible for providing the venue and AV setup.
