Our mission and what drives us
Women in Tech Gothenburg (WITgbg) was founded in 2016 and is run by dedicated volunteers united by a shared vision: to build a fair, open, and inclusive tech industry. We welcome everyone who identifies as a woman in tech and actively work to educate, empower, and influence the industry toward greater representation and inclusion.
Our mission is to raise awareness and provide practical tools that drive real change. Through our initiatives, we aim to challenge discrimination, highlight structural inequalities, and promote wellbeing in the workplace. We believe in the power of a culture where every voice is valued, where strong anti-discrimination policies are the norm, and where an inclusive environment enables everyone to thrive and grow.
